Coming Together

For the second time I was able to attend the bridge seminar in San Diego organised by Hiroshi Ikeda Shihan in the dojo of Jeff Sodeman. In comparising with 2007 I felt more a feeling of working and coming together in and outside the dojo, which was in a youthful way warming the hearts of all the participants.

With delight I think back on the moment that Francis Takahasi Shihan, in a moment of new elan and a symbol of hope, took gracefully ukemi.

Cared by the presence and attendance of Ikeda, Tissier, Doran and Murashige Shihan it went this time beyond the "bridge"-concept by finding new impulses and plans for the Future.

In 2010 a Bridge-seminar will be organised in the Netherlands-Europe, including teachers from Hombu, USA and Europe.
